2018 Projects
Midd Money Match
A town-wide shopping rewards program for shopping locally (includes town-wide business outreach to build a database for future programs and communication and efforts to greatly increase the number of businesses accepting Middlebury Money, a currency that can only be spent locally)
Advertising Campaigns
We’ll be doing a digital advertising campaign (follow us on instagram: @experiencemiddlebury) about the hidden gems in town, a multi-media campaign promoting shopping locally and a tourism-based campaign hoping to draw visitors from around New England.
Public Art
Led by Town Hall Theater, featuring chain link fence art created by local artists.
Brochure
A Middlebury brochure featuring a listing of all Middlebury restaurants, retail and hotels to be distributed throughout the state at brochure racks.
ExperienceMiddlebury.com
A revamp of the ExperienceMiddlebury.com website to focus more on promoting Middlebury businesses, featuring an events calendar with all the different events happening in town on a given day. This is being funded by a digital marketing grant by the USDA.
Signage
Additional wayfinding and parking signs to help people navigate construction and find parking.
Brightening Up
We're working with town officials to plant more flowers, paint crosswalks and walkways and a few other projects to infuse some color and brighten up the construction zone.
